Things appear smaller next to the new spacious KIA Venga
In 2010 KIA Motors launched a new hatchback car called Kia Venga in Poland. The launch campaign – devised by Polish independent agency Paralotna – introduced a tagline: Things appear smaller when you have more space. The key benefit which the campaign tried to convey was that Venga is a spacious car with attractive design.
The TV ad employed a special shooting technique called “Tilt & Shift” which makes real objects appear as small-scale mock-ups. The miniature models are juxtaposed with the spacious interior of the new Kia Venga to support the message of the campaign. The song used in the TV spot – “Like The Rainbow” by Bruno Pilloix & Alyse Pilloix – has become pretty popular thanks to the campaign.
This year KIA continues the Kia Venga campaign under the same slogan but with a new TV ad which also communicates the unique Kia’s 7-year warranty. The new song featured in the TV copy is Nadia Fay’s Come Home To Me.
The campaign includes internet display banners which link to the special Kia Venga microsite: www.kia-venga.pl.
